Bar Code Data Matrix

Data Matrix is a rectangular two-dimensional matrix symbology, resembling a checkerboard storing from 1 to 2334 characters of any spoken language. It expands or contracts to accommodate these different amounts of information. It can be printed in any color that provides at least 20% contrast and can be read at any angle of rotation. It also has a high degree of redundancy (data is scattered throughout the symbol), resistance to printing defects, and has built-in error correction, but does not include human-readable data. The symbol size ranges from 0.001 inch per side up to 14 inches per side.
